Jess founded Oswald as President of the Durham University Polo Club, creating custom shirts when the team couldn’t find any they liked. Other teams soon requested her designs, launching Oswald.
Alfie can be seen playing in multiple matches most days of the week, with his time split between Cowdray and Guards. Alfie won the Talacrest Best Young Player of the Year Award at Guards in 2023.
Kayley became one of the most recognised faces of the 2023 English season after becoming the first professional female player to win the Gold Cup.
New Zealander, Jimmy, splits his time between his family club, Waireka and Cowdray. Always with a smile on his face, Jimmy is a Cowdray favourite.
Dan is the newest member of the Oswald Family, joining in 2023. He spends his UK seasons playing at Cowdray, In the winter he predominantly plays in Argentina & South Africa.
Alongside playing with his family team, J&R, Riley was nicknamed ‘super sub’ at Guards, where he subbed into more games than any other player in the 2023 season.
After graduating from Durham with a degree in Classics, Holly turned her attention to playing polo and training young ponies. She moved to Cowdray in 2023 and will be returning this season.
Chris cut his teeth in the polo world training young horses and coaching around the globe. Now based at his family farm in Surrey; he has a passion for all things equine and a self-confessed obsession for bitting.
Phil has been an ambassador from the early days of Oswald. Not only is he flat out during the English summer season, but his winter is almost as busy as he regularly plays in India and Argentina.
After graduating from Loughborough in 2021, Sam hit the ground running with his polo career by playing the high goal in his first pro season. Sam spends the winter in Argentina and has just started to breed his own polo ponies in collaboration with Holly Buter.
George is a talented two goaler with big plans for the 2024 season. He splits his time between playing in New Zealand and England. In the 2023 English season he trained ponies for Ross Ainsley.
Ed is not only a talented player, but he also founded Dart Bloodstock - producing top quality ponies alongside a rapidly expanding private polo club.
Alongside playing, Emily has founded Four Ponds Farm, a polo breeding and training programme based in Warwickshire, focusing on temperament, and producing ponies for all levels.
