Q: How did you get involved with the Oswald brand?
A: I've been friends with the founder, Jess, for a number of years and I saw how hard she works building Oswald and I wanted to help out. I also like the fact Oswald supports young players.
Q: If you weren't doing polo what would you be doing?
A: Probably a farmer!
Q: What does your daily routine look like?
A: I wake up, shower, ****, wait to be served breakfast by my girlfriend... We arrive at the yard and call the ponies who run to the corrals for breakfast. We either spend the day pony-patting or head to polo.
Q: Who is your best pony?
A: He is not my best, but Doc Lennon was the first pony I brought from Argentina and he has an amazing character, so is my favourite. However, his sister Do Musica Ligeria is my most talented.
Q: Where do you source your ponies from?
A: Most of our string is made up of Cria Doc ponies from Argentina. We have now also begun breeding ourselves. Our first homebred was born in 2023, so we are looking forward to the future.
Q. What is your most prized possession?
A: Our dog, Biscuit.
Q: What are three things you can't live without?
A: Insulin, puppies and ponies
Q: What is your drink of choice?
A: Tea
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A: At the time of writing, I am currently in Argentina, but popping home for Christmas this year, which is nice! I'm then looking forward to the English season which is already looking to be a busy one, which is great!
Q: What would you like to achieve in the next five years?
A: Having already been fortunate enough to play in the High Goal in the UK, I would love to be given the opportunity to play the High Goal again and on my own string.
My favourite piece of clothing from Oswald is the fleece snood - an essential with English weather.
My favourite horsewear item is the "Best Playing Pony" rugs Oswald produce, there are a few of them pinned up in our tack room.
